Fall is Here! 11-3-2014

Hey!

Things are going pretty great:)
Elder Barrus just talked to me about his mission in the letter he sent. It was good to hear from him.
We're gonna try to meet with Davon again this week. To answer your question mom:- Soft baptismal invite is when you say" if you were to come to know these things were true would you be baptized by someone holding the proper priesthood authority" We haven't been able to teach them yet...., hopefully this week.
I really like the place we live.
Mom:  My clothes and shoes are holding up good:) Thanks for the shoe polish.
My companion is Elder Sofele. He is from LA California. He is Tongan, . haha a big dude. I love him he's awesome.
We get to see and talk to President quite often. He lives like 5 minutes away from us. He's a great guy. We have a dinner every night with members. I love it.
My ward mission leader from my greenie area & moved into my ward right now. It's pretty cool. We're eating at their place on Friday. The Cammacks. That's pretty much it for this week.
I'm writing Joey this week. It's gonna happen. I love you all so much!

SLOOOOOOOOOW WEEK

Hey!!!

This last week was pretty slow . It's a pretty slow area here in Aspen.
So on friday we had zone conference. That was a really long day. It was in Craig which is like 3 hours away, so we woke up at 5:00am and I drove. And then zone conference ended at like 4ish and I drove the 3 hours back....It stunk...I did a lot of driving that day. I talked to my mission president and he said in the near future he wants to put me into a leadership position in the mission. But I don't want to have a leadership position, I like being a regular missionary haha.
I got your package and I loved it!!! So much food and cookies!:) Please tell Lauren McCoy and her husband THANK YOU!! I was able to share with some of the other Elders. We were in heaven because those are the kind of things we can't afford to buy on our budgets. The other Elders thank her too!!
I didn't get that camera yet though. Have you sent it yet?
This week we're gonna work really hard:) Find some new people to teach:)
That's pretty much it for this week. I love you all and hope to hear from you soon!

Hello Aspen!

Hey!

So my new area is Aspen!!! It's so sweet, but we live in Basalt- like 20 minutes outside of Aspen. So we cover Basalt and Aspen. Our area is pretty big haha. I never thought I would serve in Aspen. I mean that's what most people think of when they think of Colorado.

 My address :

Elder Peugnet
291 Park Ave  Apt # J-3
Basalt CO 81621

I love this new area a lot so far. We're not even a ward! We're a branch, so there's not a ton of members out here.
My new companion is Elder Riley. He's from Reno Nevada. He's been out 19 months. He's getting up there haha.
I'm like 2 hours from Cedaredge, I think but not sure.
So the Huggetts are the best family ever! They are like my family away from home. They always fed us and helped us out and stuff. We did a lot of service for them, so we were over there a lot. I'm going to miss them a lot....
So this week was pretty sweet so far. On Saturday we helped with the Aspen Valley Marathon. A member of our branch helped with it so she asked if we could help, so we were doing service a lot of Saturday. That was pretty sweet.
On Sunday apparently there was a lot of visitors haha. Our ward/branch mission leader told us there were more visitors there than actual members of the branch. I guess they get a lot of visitors in the summer.
I miss the heat so much...sounds weird but I miss the Arizona heat...
Everything here is Aspen and Basalt is so expensive!!!...Everything in the store is literally like 1 to 2 times more expensive than other places. And we don't get a ton of dinners here either...So you should send me a lot of food haha. Like canned stuff and macaroni and stuff that would be easy to make:)
Well that's pretty much all that happened this week.
Wait!!!! I received a referral for Heather!!!! This lady in our branch is from the DR and she gave me the address of her family and told me to have Heather or whatever missionaries that are in that area go see them. Pretty cool huh? Small World!
That was my week:)BTW, everyone here is so rich, it's ridiculous. We saw an Audi R-8 the other day (Austin should know what that is) and we've seen multiple Bentleys. I see about 50 Audis everyday and 50 Lexus's and about 100 BMWs. It's crazy!
Well I hope to hear from you soon and love you all!!!!

Love,
Elder Peugnet

To answer some of your questions:

Yes, I need a camera. Mine died a couple of months ago and I miss taking pictures.
Yeah there are grocery stores, (there is a "City Market" close to our apt,  I think it's like the "Fry's" of Colorado) but the prices are ridiculously high because of the area, I guess? I'll probably end up losing weight in this area, haha.
There is a Costco in Rifle, Co which is like an hour away.
No, we don't go back to our apartment for lunch, so we usually go without eating, unless we randomly get an invitation or have money to grab something. (yes, I will accept donations:) haha)
If you send food, please send things that are easy to make, like macaroni, ramen soup, jerkey, things like that. (Oreo's are always a treat!)
Tell everyone at home and in the ward I love my mission and am glad I'm here.
Love, Elder Peugnet

Being Transferred!....Sad Day

Hello!
I found out that I'm being transferred....I'm pretty bummed out. I really love this area  alot and it has really grown on me. Now usually I hate small towns, but the people in this area are just sooo amazing and great people. I'm really going to miss Cedaredge and it will have a place in my heart forever.

I heard through the grapevine that I am whitewashing an area. That means me and another missionary are both being transferred into a new area. This area will have a fresh start:) I guess that means that my mission president has a lot of trust in me if he's having me whitewash.
I will tell you my new address as soon as I find it out! I'm excited to have a fresh start though. Meet and teach new people:) I love meeting and talking to new people:) We're just gonna chill in cedaredge this p day. not really do very much haha.

DDDDAAAAAANNNNNGGGGGGG! Heather is coming home that soon!? Time has flown by! That's pretty crazy. I'm almost at my halfway mark. I can't believe it! Well that's the big news for this week. I hope to hear from you soon and love you all sooooo much!!!!

Well that's pretty much it for this week. I love you alll sooo much!!!! Hope to hear from you soon.

KNOCK KNOCK

(Adam's sister Alexis was in Colorado last weekend, not too far from Adam's house, so she bought a bunch of groceries and goodies and "ding dong ditched" after dropping  boxes at their doorstep. Adam had no idea who dropped it off. Alexis made sure no mission rules were broken! :)

Hey!!!

I can't believe that Alex came to our apartment!! I heard the doorbell ring and my companion opened the door and brought in both packages. I was wondering who the heck is this from because there was no address on it. Once I opened one and saw the Knight shirt I knew who it was from. But I never would have guessed that Alex herself and Casey and Sydney dropped it off!! I was just so puzzled on how they got there with no address on them haha. I loved everything in both packages! I got the money. I have shared with my comp.
Not much happened this week. My comp was sick all week so we didn't get very much done. But we do have 2 baptisms this Saturday! So that's exciting!
I'm loving this area. This is my favorite area that I have served in so far.  Well I love you all and miss you a lot!!!

Ohhhhh Okayyyy now I understand who Charlie is!!!
Yes I got the package and the g's. You should send me more pictures cause I love em!!!
Yes I get to  email my friends mom...haha
This last week was a pretty good week. We have a baptism coming up on Saturday! Ed Fowler! Pray for him!!!! He's been off coffee for 10 days now! And that is his biggest struggle and Also pray for Christy Crosby! She is on date for June 14th and her life is crazy!!! So pray for her!!!! We had 25 lessons this last week!
We're kinda pressed for time today, so this is going to be a short email....I love you all and I'll try to write Andrea and Joey back as soon as possible!

Keeping Busy!!

Hey!

So this week was an awesome week!
And really interesting haha. We taught this gay guy this week and that was quite the experience cause he was like a volcano!
We had a great week. We had 32 lessons for the week! We're going to try and hit 35 next week though!  The work is really progressing!
We have a guy on date. His name is Ed Fowler and he is supposed to be baptized in 2 weeks so we'll see what happens.
So a quick cool story. So there is a show called South Park and this guy in our ward is in that show...One of the characters in the show is based off of him. It's so crazy! We looked it up on the internet and it's true!!! This guy tells so many crazy stories it's ridiculous! He is the most interesting man in the world.
It was snowing all last night! So crazy! We woke up and everything was white! And it's May so there should not be snow right now.
It was awesome to see the family yesterday! The nieces and nephews are sooooo big it's crazy! And I'm still fuzzy on who the heck Charlie is! So we really got another dog?
Well I will send some pictures cause not that much happened this week. I love you all!!!
Ward Missionary Brother Whitcomb and his wife.

Brother Whitcomb is a huge Dodgers fan
and he knows I am not..... so on my last
day he made me take a picture with him
wearing his Dodgers hat!

Roger, our investigator. He has a lot of
health problems and doesn't get out much.

Suzi, Jeff's girlfriend invited us to her
work for lunch the day before transfers.

It's been a GREAT week!!

Hey!

So I'm still  not feeling the best, in fact I  feel pretty cruddy...but the work must go on!!! haha
So this won't be the longest email in the world.

This last week was awesome! We had 28 lessons! That's pretty dang good.
We're just killin it in this area! There is a lot of work to be done in Cedaredge.

I love my companion. This companionship is definitely inspired by our mission president. We get along so well and we teach great together.

My Zone Leaders are really getting on my nerves though...Me and Elder Garner are being obedient and working hard and our ZL's have been questioning us a lot lately. It's really frustrating but all I can do is continue to work hard. We are going to do really well this transfer.

And Mothers Day..... The time we set up with the member that we're skyping with is 2:00. I didn't know church was from 1-4. I don't really know how I can change it but we'll figure something out:)

And something else cool happened this week! So our ward mission leader has been the ward mission leader for 5 years. And last week he told me and Elder Garner that we are the best teachers that he has seen in this area since he's been ward mission leader. That's pretty cool! We're working hard and bringing others to Christ.

Well I love you all and hope you have a great week.

 I love you!!!

P.S.
Actually can we do 5 on Mother's Day? Elder Garners parents also have church from 1-4 So will 5 work?

Robert got Baptized!!!!!!!!!!

Hey!

My Easter was pretty awesome!
Yes, we only cover one ward.  After church this lady in our ward invited us over for dinner and it was awesome! It was an awesome Easter dinner!
That's so crazy that Kyle is home!!!
I'll let you know when get to call for Mother's day. I'm not sure  when because  I am being transferred! I think I'm going back to Highlands Ranch. We got some inside people in the mission;) .  It's not for 100%  but I would love to go back to Highlands Ranch though.
Yes, I do enjoy being in a threesome. Time seems to fly when you're in a threesome.
By the way, I'm still working on the letter thing, ....we're pretty busy as missionaries ya know:) I"ll try to get that written this week.
I loved my Easter package!!! Except it was way too much junk and candy haha. I mean you do want me to find a wife when I get home right?  I can't work off all the candy and junk like I used to back home cause we only get like half an hour to workout in the morning. And I'm trying to stay in shape.

Robert got baptized on Saturday!!! It was pretty cool! He got baptized exactly 3 weeks after we starting teaching him. That's pretty fast for a baptism. He was just prepared to hear the gospel. It was awesome!!!!!!!!
Nothing else really happened though. I love you all so much and hope to hear from you soon!

Love,
Elder Peugnet

Never Assume............Lesson Learned

Hey!

This last week was pretty slow again...

But we do have a baptism this Saturday!

So there is this Serenity home that we always go to and teach people there. It's full of veterans and recovering addicts and former homeless people. We have been going there for the past 2 months and teaching this guy named Troy. And Troy doesn't really progress. But everytime we would go there this guy named Robert would always answer the door but we never taught him. Honestly he is really quiet and we always thought he wasn't all there and there was no point in teaching him. But 2 weeks ago on Saturday we went to the house and Troy wasn't there and Robert answered the door so we asked him if we could teach him. And he is so solid!!! He knows everything we teach him and absorbs it in like a sponge! It's pretty awesome! We gave him a church tour and the last thing we did was go to the chapel and had him pray to know if these things were true and after we asked him how he felt and he said "It feels like God is here." He is so awesome! And he is being baptized on Saurday. Bishop Maxwell is baptizing him and I think confirming him.

That's pretty much all that has happened this week. We have been focusing on Robert a lot lately. Well I hope to hear from you all soon and love you very very muchly!

General Conference 4-7-14

I had a an awesome birthday!!!! Conference was soooo awesome! There were so many good talks. Conference got off to an awesome start on Saturday morning with Elder Hollands talk. The Cost—and Blessings—of Discipleship   I love Elder Holland! He is such an awesome speaker and I feel the spirit so strongly whenever he speaks.'
I like Elder Bednar's talk too.Bear Up Their Burdens with Ease   I just liked all of them!!! This was an awesome conference!
I got my birthday package. (*to answer your question mom about where the packages are put if we are not home.) We have a mail thingy just like we have at home- but if the package is too big to  fit in the thing they just put it in front of the door. I got the package from Alan and Debbie too! I loved that one!;) It was just full of chocolate! My favorite! Thanks!
Transfers is April 22nd.  We find out April 19th if one of us will be leaving or staying.
Bad news....my camera kinda of broke again.....I've spent too much money on camera's...I think i'm cursed to just break all of my camera's....So I don't really have any pictures to send today. My camera still works but the lens got messed up somehow...I need a tough camera or something. Any suggestions?  I'm gonna try to get this camera fixed before I even think about a new camera.
That's so crazy that Kyle is coming home the 15th!!! Time has flown by!!!
I know how fast time is going for me.... I've been out 7 months on friday...It's crazy to think,  I only have 2 more GeneralConferences left and one birthday ! It's crazy! My mission is flying by!
We had Zone conference wednesday and conference this weekend so nothing really happened. It was a pretty quiet week.
I love you all so much and hope to hear from you soon and thanks for all the birthday wishes!

Talented Cat!! 3-31-14

Hey!!!

My week was pretty slow....not that much happened at the beginning of the week but towards the end things started to pick up a lil bit:)

And that was Jeff Rocket I sent a picture of last week. Not Roger.

Roger is they guy I told you about that is  on oxygen and has asthma and diabetes...

But we had a really cool experience this week. On Thursday we had exchanges and so an Elder came with me and Elder Jacobson and Elder Hawkes went with that Elders companion. There are these less actives who never come to church and they honestly just really frustrate me....They always lie and make up the dumbest excuses why they missed church...One day we went and visited them and their blinds were open and the radio was blaring. So we knocked on the door and no one answered....And when we left the blinds were closed....So we visited them later that day and they answered...And I was like "We stopped by earlier and someone was here but no one answered and the radio was blaring." They told us they leave the radio on for their cat....So I said (and yes, I was a lil frustrated)..." Oh really? Does the cat also shut the blinds when we knock on the door?" AND THEY SAID YESSS!!!! ha-ha.. Anyways back to what I was saying...we went to see them Thursday and the blinds were open so we knocked and no one answered and when we left the blinds were closed..
....so we went to go try  to see another guy named Kim. Everytime we try him he always says "come back later." We knocked on his door and he was like "Who is it!?" I yelled "It's the missionaries!!!" He yelled back"Perfect timing!!!!" Me and Elder Jacobson just gave each other a look like what the heck... haha. He opened the door and was like"Let's go to the park!" So we went and we had an awesome lesson!!! The spirit was so strong. Kim told us that he had been praying all day that we would stop by and he was going through some hard times and wanted to talk to us. We talked about the Plan of Salvation and the Book of Mormon and we asked him pray at the end...That was awesome...He prayed and asked if the Book of Mormon was true and if the things we were teaching were true and then just stopped and said" This just doesn't feel right." And we told him that he needed to finish the prayer in the name of Jesus Christ... And he did,  and as soon as he ended his prayer, literally the sun came out and warmth just covered us all. It was an awesome experience...That was the highlight of this week pretty much.

And that's all that really happened this week.

I don't really have any last minute request for my birthday,  except maybe candy!!! Lot's of candy!!!

Well I hope to hear from you soon and tell Joey to email me!!! I love you all!!!

Love,
Elder Peugnet

sad good bye

Hey Everyone!

So this is Jeff Rockett. He was one of our most solid investigators...his story is crazy. The missionaries have been teaaching him for about 5-6 months now. He was homeless with his girlfriend Suzi. That lady that got baptized a couple of weeks ago and he was working his way to baptism. Unfortunately he and Suzi fight a lot and aren't very good for each other....So they finally got in a fight and Suzi told jeff to leave and on Thursday his dad came from Texas and picked him up.
Suzi is completely depressed and we haven't been able to see her since last thursday...Sad days...
Pray for them.
Jeff and I
I'm sure going to miss this guy, I hope the missionaries find him in Texas

A little friendly competition before Jeff left for Texas.

P-day fun.:)

3-24-14

Hey!
(note from Evie: I had mention to Adam that his younger brother and sister will be participating in a Pioneer Trek this summer)
Man!!! I miss the trek so much!!!! They are going to have so much fun! My favorite game was the stick pull!  Funny story: In the MTC a bunch of missionaries had a stick pull competition and I won!!!  I faced this Elder who had a hundred pounds on me and I still threw him,.( I was just lucky I guess) And I've done the stick pull a couple of more times out here on my mission and still haven't been beaten! I miss the trek a lot though! Tell Big Brother Hinton I say hi!

That's so crazy that Kyle , Justin and Seth are coming home soon...my mission feels like it is flying by..That'll be me and my friends before we know it! .It's crazy.

That's crazy that Alexis Anderson is leaving and Deryck got his call. I'm proud of them!!!

So I have a request....send an endless supply of oreos!!! and a chocolate cake (that's a luxury that I can't afford) haha!!

I miss the Arizona heat so much. That sounds weird but I really do. It gets pretty cold here.

That guy Rodger!!! He came to church for the third week in a row!!! It was awesome! He went to the emergency room on Saturday. He goes a couple times a month when he can't breath and told us he wouldn't be making it to church. But Sunday comes and he shows up! It made my day! He said during the meeting " I really like this. I'm hooked." Dang right you're hooked Rodger! Once he felt the spirit he just can't get enough of it.

What really made my day was after sacrament though. That guy I talked about who thinks we're just saved by grace, his name is Brandon and he came to church yesterday. On one condition though, we had to go to his church. He goes to a Pentecostol church...Oh boy that was quite the experience haha. We went there and the band was playing and after the band stopped the guitarist just started yelling gibberish and raising his arms to the sky. It was something like' Ummmm shababalalababa ummmmmm shababababalalala" it was crazy ahaha. And this old woman "Interpreted"what he said. And what she interpreted just happened to go right along with what the preachers sermon was on. It was different and the spirit was not there at all. You can't feel the spirit when the whole congregation is "speaking tongues' and yelling loudly at the same time haha. But we're gonna meet with the Pastor and baptize him;)!!  Then his whole church;)
Well that's pretty much all that happened this week. I love you all!!!

Love, Elder Peugnet

3-17-14 Happy St Patrick's Day!!

HEY!

This last week was pretty awesome. That guy Roger, he came to church again this Sunday!!! And this last Monday he said that he wants to be baptized!!! That's pretty awesome!
We found a couple of new investigators this week. So that has been pretty awesome! Other than that nothing has really happened this week haha. Man! brother!! (referring to his older brother Austin who turns 29 today) You are so old now! You're almost 30!!!! hahaha;) I feel old haha.
We are teaching lots of people but there are a couple specific ones we focus on. So last Friday was crazy. Everything that could go wrong went wrong....Almost every single appointment we had fell through and we had 2 people drop us....it was pretty ridiculous/sad..
That's so cool that Alexis's (Anderson) farewell is next Sunday!!!
And Stephanies (Howe) papers are in!? That's sweet!!
Tell dad to wear his boot so his foot will heal right!
Well I love you all and hope to hear from you soon!
WRITE!!!

Blessings!!!!!!

Hey!!!

So I'm not being transferred I found out!!! I'm stayin in montrose!! So my address is the same 1101 S Cascade Ave #5 Montrose, Colorado 81401-4932 (please tell people I love getting mail from Az!)  and I'm going to be here for at least another 6 weeks!
This last sunday was pretty awesome! So we teach  a guy named Rodger. He lives in an apartment by himself and has a dog. He has diabetes and asthma and the missionaries have been teaching him for a lil over a year. And a couple of weeks ago we got him to pray for the first time!!! And he always tells us he can't go to church because of the weather and his health. So on Saturday we gave him a blessing and hoped he would show up.  Sunday morning we called and talked to him. I actually am the one who talked to him. He answered the phone and I asked how he was doing and he said he was actually feeling pretty good. And I was like "good enough to come to church?" He said "Actually, I was gonna drive by and if I feel up to it I'll stop in." So Sacrament came around and HE SHOWED UP!!! It was seriously so awesome!!! And during Sacrament he said that he really enjoyed it and he wants to come every week. It was freakin awesome.
And this other guy came to sacrament, Troy, we made a deal with him- We told him that if he came to our church we would go to his church. So he came to Sacrament and after Sacrament we went to his church. Ahahaha it was quite the experience. They had a band and the band played for about half an hour. It was ridiculous. They use the new king james version of the bible and in the front of the bible there was a prayer printed and if you said the prayer then you are saved....What a joke.
And that CD I want is a movie. It's the John Tanner story.
And yes,  I get the money you send occasionally and I really, really, really appreciate it:)))) It's a life saver sometimes haha.
My journal writing is almost non existant...,That's something I really struggle with.
I have a question for Dad or Grandpa! There is this guy we meet with every Saturday and he is quite a handful. We basically just have discussions and He believes that if we believe in Christ we are saved...and that works don't matter...I was wondering if dad or grandpa, if either of you have a good way of explaining Ephesians 2:8-9 That would be awesome!!! We have tried, but maybe you have a different way?
I love you all!!! And I wish I could have been there for Kadences birthday!!! I love those girls!!!  Yes,  I know who sister Cope is but I don't know her Alex!

Love,
Elder Peugnet

Great Week!

Hey!!!

This last week has been pretty awesome! We had a baptism on Saturday! That was so sweet!!! And guess what!? She asked me to do the confirmation!!!! That was so cool and awesome!!! It was pretty nerve racking at the same time. But once I started the blessing the spirit took over and it was an awesome experience.
So transfers are next week. It's actually on my 6 month mark, March 11th.
I had interviews with my mission president and I'm pretty sure I'm being transferred. My companions also had interviews with him and they both said that he told them I'm going to be with an Elder who is metro side. So i guess I'm leaving the mountains haha. I love the weather right now!!! It's pretty awesome!!!
Okay I have a request for a package. I NEED SOME SOCKS!!...lots of them...somehow I've lost like all of my socks and also if you could send me compression shorts that would be awesome too. I bought a pair of compression shorts for P-day but I need another pair.
And also...if you could find The John Tanner Story A Treasure In Heaven and buy and send that to me that would be sweet. I think it's on the lds bookstore website.
Things are going pretty well. I'm still not fat, but I was putting on weight and I ended that in a hurry!
ha-ha.
And thank you dad for that email last week. It was an inspired email because I was struggling at that time and you really lifted me up.
I love you all so much and hope to hear from you soon and thanks Alex for that package!!! I loved it.  (the chocolate sauce is already gone;) haha

Feb 17, 2014

Hello Everyone!

I know I say this a lot, but I can't believe another week has past...............

I honestly don't know what to say about this last week...

It just kind of flew by and I don't remember what happened at all really.  I know we worked hard and had lots of lessons. I need to be get better about the details.

I'm going to try to be better at budgeting money....I just had to buy a lot of stuff yesterday...Shampoo, socks, essential stuff I need. I try to use my mission card whenever possible, but every once in a while I need to buy essentials.

...I'm going to try a lot harder to spend less money and make things like holey socks last longer. haha

I haven't written that letter yet...I've been pretty busy with missionary work...go figure haha.

The work is going pretty well here in Montrose. Yes I'm only covering one ward and we are in a car.

We are actually in a minivan haha. There are 2 minivans in the whole mission and we have one.

I have had a killer headache yesterday and today and just feel like crud. I know I will feel better soon. It's a temporary setback

...I love you all.

New address 2-3-14 and It's been a good week 2-10-14

Hey,      2-3-14

So my new address is 1101 S. Cascade Ave. Apt. 5 Montrose CO 81401-4932

I'm now in the Black Canyon ward and I'm in another tri pan. I'm with zone leaders again...
So my companions are Elder Hawkes(who was my district leader when I was in Highlands Ranch) and Elder Jacobson.
Elder Hawkes has been out about 8 months and is from Sugar City Idaho and Elder Jacobson is from Kitty Hawk North Carolina and has been out about 9 months.
The work is really progressing here in Montrose. It's pretty cool.
I don't feel very good today so this is gonna be a short email.
I spent some money this week with the debit card cause MSF was out and we didn't get it till the end of the week and we didn't have a dinner appointment all week and we don't have any scheduled this week either.

I love you.

Love,
Elder Peugnet

Hello Everyone!                 2-10-14

I've been praying for Preston everyday since last Monday..I'm sad to hear what happened and it is bittersweet.

I've been really good this last week. I love this area. It's pretty awesome. I'm in another Trio. Trios are pretty common in our mission. I don't know how long I will be in Montrose honestly...
I heard that the Elders are gone from our apt at home and that there are sisters living there now.
I got that package:) I loved it. I don't know if I got the letter from Nate. I'll have to check again.
I read all my friends emails whenever I get them, so please keep sending them.

I'll kinda of break down this last week;

So Monday was P-day.  We emailed and then we went shopping.  We went back to the apartment and changed. Then we went to the stakecenter and played basketball till around 5:50ish...

Last Saturday we got a call from some guy and he said that he wanted to go to our church and  asked what time it was. Then he started asking all these questions about the church and so we asked if we could go and teach him and he said yes. So we went over right then and started to teach him and then he came to church the next day with us. We started teaching him all week and he's on date to be baptized Feb. 22nd. It's pretty awesome. His name is Micheal Brickell. He's so golden.

Thursday and Friday I was on exchanges....That stunk.....I won't even go into detail about that..haha. I'm not much of a talker so I think I'm gonna send you a letter this week talking about the rest of my week...cause honestly, I hate typing. :)
Things are going pretty well in this area...we have a bunch of solid investigators. Well....I love you all so much!

Pictures!!

Hey!!!

So I'm being transferred!!!! I won't be part of a threesome any more. ..........so don't send any mail this week.

And I got that money from g&g!!! I just didn't look hard enough I guess. I thought it might have gone to Fruita but it was in a letter I had with me,  haha.

And YEEESSSSS mom...I like that photo album I got:) I look at it like everyday. I looked super high in one of the pictures at scout camo. It's fun looking back on the pictures of the Stripling Warriors. I glad I got to do that before my mission.

. This last week was pretty good:) We set this guy named Wade on date for March. He has quit smoking and hasn't smoked since december 31st. He is doing awesome and there are like three 9 year olds that are gonna be baptized in the next couple of months. So things are going pretty well here in Silt.

I can't wait to find out where I'm gonna be tranfserred to! I'm stoked!!!

That's pretty much all that has happened this week. I love you all and hope to hear from you soon!!!

Love,

First Baptism!

Hello!!!                                       1-20-14

This last week has been pretty awesome!!!

We had a baptism this last saturday!!! It was so awesome! My first baptism!!! Scott was so prepared and ready to recieve the gospel. And he was confirmed and recieved the holy ghost yesterday and we got to stand in the circle. He is going to be an awesome member and going to do great things.

I love my new companions. They are Elder Gifford and Elder Gibson. Elder Gifford is from Wyoming and has been out 14 months. This is his first transfer as a zone leader. Elder Gibson is from Mesa. He has been out 19 months and He's been a zone leader for a lonnngggg time.

This transfer is going pretty well so far. But I don't think that I'm going to stay in Silt though. I think i'll be transferred out with a new comp.

That's pretty much all that happened this last week. It was awesome. I love you all!!!

Please tell people to write letters. I LOVE getting mail!
